Who We Are?
KyivPride is a Ukrainian non-governmental organization that aims at contributing to full respect for human rights for LGBT+ in Ukraine, at encouraging an appreciation for these rights by raising LGBT+ visibility and their participation in social processes. In addition to its activities throughout the year, NGO “KyivPride” organizes an annual event called the KyivPride-week.
Our Projects
Shelter for LGBT+ people and their relatives in Kyiv
Our shelter is convenient for those who are in transit in Kyiv, or need to get things done in the capital but has no one to be hosted, or anyone who needs a temporary roof over their head. If necessary, it is also suitable when moving to Kyiv, while finding a job, renting an apartment, or enrolling to study.
Stay for up to 1 month is free.
Queer Unbreakable point of help in the center of Kyiv
A cozy safe space in the capital of Ukraine, where you can work, warm up, or make friends!
We provide free of charge:
• Workplace
• Electricity
• Water/tea/coffee
• Warmth
• Wi-Fi
The Unbreakable Point is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (can be changed)
Psychological help
Every week we hold online support sessions with LGBT+ friendly psychologists. Announcements about convening groups are posted in our Telegram channel.
